It is so important that we keep the Presence of God central to all that surrounds our lives. Without His Presence we are left with only a shell without substance. It is God’s will that we be filled to overflowing with His river of life.

And wherever the river goes, every living creature that swarms will live, and there will be very many fish. For this water goes there, that the waters of the sea may become fresh; so everything will live where the river goes.

Ezekiel 47:9

We are not called to simply exist, but to live. When we are tapped into the River of His Presence everything comes much easier. As we drink from this river of God we are refreshed and our hearts are affected in such a way that being yielded to the Holy Spirit comes much easier. When His desires become our desires everything makes more sense being accompanied with a beautiful flow of His life.

Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive…

John 7:38

What an immense treasure of glory that has been deposited within us! It behooves us to take time to draw from this well of life inside of us. We don’t want to neglect this blessing of God that has been freely given to us. All of what God desires of us, all that has been promised to us and all that God wants us to be engaged in comes to fruition with eternal reward as we engage in the water source within us. It is the communion of His Spirit within that gives us the strength to accomplish all that He calls us to.

And he said, My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest. And he said to him, If your presence will not go with me (Moses), do not bring us up from here.

Exodus 33:14

Moses understood just how important it was to have the Presence of God to accomplish a task. The Lord looks for us to have a complete dependency upon Him abiding in His Presence. When He is manifested in our lives, we have a great assurance that His goodness will always grant us favor, blessing and overwhelming victory.
